Harold Thune

Harold Thune was an outstanding guard on the Murdo High School basketball team that played in the 1937 Class B State Basketball Tournament. After a year at Hibbing, MN. Junior College, Thune moved the University of Minnesota. Thune started for three seasons for the Gophers of the Big Ten Conference.

Harold Thune is a 2013 inductee into the South Dakota Sports Hall of Fame.
